Saudi Arabia Participates in the first session of the Conference of the States Parties to the Arab Convention against Corruption which will be held at the Arab League headquarters in Cairo during the period from 27-28 December 2015, in a delegation headed by H.E. Dr. Khaled bin Abdulmohsen Al-Muhaisen, President of the National Anti-Corruption Commission.
The conference will discuss a number of important topics, including: the Adoption of the draft rules of procedures of the Conference and to consider ways and means to achieve its objectives, as stipulated in the convention, and it will also discuss training and technical assistance issues.
It is worth mentioning that Saudi Arabia joined the Arab Convention against Corruption under the royal decree No. M/36, on 03/06/1433H. The agreement includes provisions on the preventive measures to prevent corruption, and to identify the offenses established in accordance with the provisions of it. It also addresses the procedures asset recovery operations and the joint Arab cooperation.
