Efforts of the National Anti-Corruption Commission (Nazaha) in cooperation with concerned authorities led to the removal of encroachments on government lands in Wadi Namar in Riyadh, with an area of more than (20) million square meters of an estimated value of more than one billion Riyals. Also an ownership instrument was revoked by judicial authorities on another land in Namar of an area of more than (1,300.000) square meters. Nazaha also discovered a forged instrument on a land of an area of (19) million square meters, and referred the case to competent authorities to complete legal proceedings.
The National Anti-Corruption Commission (Nazaha) investigated, after receiving information from citizens, the violations on government lands in Wadi Namar in Riyadh, and the placement of a (Private property) sign with the aim of illegally owning them.
After investigating and field verifying, the Commission determined the scope of the encroachments in the valley, which amounts to more than 20 million square meters. Legal procedures have been taken and all violations have been removed by competent authorities.
