​President of Nazaha heads the Kingdom's delegation at a high-level meeting of the United Nations General Assembly

On Wednesday, May 23, 2018, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will participate in a high-level meeting of the United Nations General Assembly, headed by H.E. Dr. Khaled bin Abdulmohsen Al-Muhaisen, marking the 15th anniversary of the adoption of the United Nations Convention against Corruption (UNCAC), In the presence of H.E. Mr. Miroslav Lajcak, President of the United Nations General Assembly, H.E. Mr. António Guterres, Secretary-General of the United Nations, H.E. Mr. Yuri Fedotov, Under-Secretary  General of the United Nations and Executive Director of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime, and the President of the Seventh Conference of the States Parties to the United Nations Convention against Corruption.
The meeting will commence with an opening session, two interactive panel discussions and including discussion of the most prominent developments and best practices in the implementation of the United Nations Convention against Corruption (UNCAC). It concludes with remarks by the President of the General Assembly of the United Nations to review the most important observations on the implementation of the Convention.
The meeting will include a special session for ministers, in which H.E. the President of Nazaha will address the Kingdom's achievements in the field of protecting integrity and fighting corruption led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, in line with the Kingdom's Vision 2030 and the United Nations Convention against Corruption (UNCAC).
It is worth mentioning that Saudi Arabia became a state party to the United Nations Convention against Corruption (UNCAC) after its ratification by royal decree No. M/5 dated 11/3/1434 H. The number of States parties to the Convention is 184 states.
Nazaha works impartially with the concerned parties to achieve the objectives of the National Strategy for Maintaining Integrity and Combating Corruption related to the strengthening international cooperation and exchange of information, opinion and experience in the field of protecting integrity and fighting corruption.
