H.E. President of the National Anti-Corruption Commission's speech on the occasion of Saudi Arabia's 87th National Day

On this blessed day, we commemorate a precious occasion for the people of this nation as the their fathers and grandparents did in the past when the founder King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Alsaud united this country. Citizens remember the sacrifices made by their parents and grandparents in order for us to live in this prosperity and security we are enjoying today.
In this anniversary we remember with pride and honour the victories that the founder led until the unifying and establishment of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
We commemorate this anniversary each year and we are in the middle of many blessings. We must thank Allah for what we have and we should look around us to observe the development that we reached in all fields.  Holding strong our principles that the founder put forth deriving from the Quran and Sunnah of the prophet to maintain the nation.
Today is the 87 since the unity of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It is the result of a firm policy for a country characterized by stability historically. The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz era has witnessed many changes to achieve a national vision that seeks to build a comprehensive and productive income resources and employ available resources for its investment through projects that the whole nation contribute in, and it reflects directly on the Saudi citizen and to build a better future for next generations. This vision is carried by a young leadership with the guidance of the Custodian of The Two Holy Mosques represented by HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Crown Prince and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, which contributed in leading the development manifested in Vision (2030). This step will move Saudi Arabia to the ranks of developed countries and it needs that we all work together to achieve it and have a zero tolerance attitude towards corruption, achieving the highest levels of transparency and governance, and activating accountability.
The leadership has proved that it is firmly committed to fighting corruption in all its forms and to follow a zero tolerance  policy with corrupt people. This is apparent through the unlimited support from the Custodian of The Two Holy Mosques to the National Anti-Corruption Commission, which had a significant impact on strengthening its work. Realizing the effect of corruption, the kingdom is cooperating with the international community in the field of protecting integrity and fighting corruption and is keen to participate in the promotion of efforts according to international law, treaties and covenants.
In the end I ask Allah to bless the  Custodian of The Two Holy Mosques and HRH the Crown Prince and to preserve the security and stability of this country.
Dr. Khaled bin Abdulmohsen Al-Muhaisen
