Nazaha holds a workshop in cooperation with the UNODC to review the Kingdom implementation of the United Nation Convention Against Corruption


​ H.E. Vice President of Nazaha for the Protection of Integrity Dr. Bandar bin Ahmed Abalkhail inaugurates a workshop entitled "Review of the Kingdom's implementation of UNCAC", which is held by the National Anti-Corruption Commission (Nazaha) in cooperation with the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNDOC) for three days, starting from Monday 10/4/2017 in Riyadh.
The workshop is presented by specialists in crime prevention and criminal justice from the UN. It will be attended by a team from the Ministry of Interior, the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Civil Service, the Bureau of Investigation and Public Prosecution, the Board of Grievances, The Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency and the Council of Saudi Chambers.
The workshop aims at capacity building of participants in the mechanisms of reviewing the implementation of UNCAC through providing participants with technical experience regarding the convention.
Workshop program consists of a number of subjects, including the review of UNCAC and the legislative guide of the convention, decisions related the review, and the reference framework of the government experts and secretariat of the review.
This workshop comes as an application of what is stated in the National Strategy for Maintaining integrity and combating corruption, in contributing with efforts, to promote regional and international cooperation and to benefit from international experience of governmental and non-governmental entities  in the field of protecting integrity and fighting corruption through organizing conferences and seminars ontransparency and fighting corruption.
