H.E. the President of the National Anti-Corruption Commission (Nazaha) Dr. Khaled bin Abdulmohsen Al-Muhaisen met in his office at the headquarters of Nazaha on Monday 29/8/2016 a delegation from the World Bank.
They reviewed bilateral relations, issues of common interest and the efforts in promoting and cooperating in the field of protecting integrity and fighting corruption.
The delegation was briefed on the most crucial procedures taken by Nazaha in the field of protecting integrity and fighting corruption. H.E. was also briefed on the World Bank experience in this field.
The delegation consisted of Ms. Francesca Recanatini, Mr. Matthew Harvey and Mr. David Bernstein. The commission has invited this delegation to look at the Kingdom's experience in protecting integrity and fighting corruption, and to benefit from the World Bank's experience in developing the work of such anti-corruption commissions, measuring corruption and its impact on countries, and to assist in implementing development plans for anti-corruption entities.
This visit comes as an application of what is stated in the National Strategy for Maintaining integrity and combating corruption, to contribute in the efforts to strengthen and develop regional and international cooperation in the field of protecting integrity and fighting corruption. Also to benefit from the experiences of other countries and international governmental or non-governmental organizations.
The meeting was attended by the commission's Vice President for the protection of Integrity, H.E. Dr. Bandar Aba Alkhail and the Vice President for Fighting Corruption H.E. Abdulmohsen Al-Monaif.
