The National Anti-Corruption Commission concluded a panel discussion for three days on public job offenses, today Thursday, 21 June 2016 in Riyadh. With the attendance of H.E. the Vice President of anti-corruption Osama Al-Rubiah and with the participation of H.E. Sheikh Dr/ Abdullah Albshr, Judge of appeal in the board of grievances Dr/ Ahmed Al-Sugaih, spokesman and board member of the Saudi Lawyers Directorate., Mr/ Redha Al-Whaiby, director of the department of investigations in the Board of Investigation and Prosecution In Riyadh, Mr/ Ahmed Al-Juraid, legal counsel in the General Investigation Directorate, Dr/ Khamees Al-Ghamdi Supervisor of the Legal Department in Shagra University, Dr/ Turki Al-Azmi Member of the committee of Investigation and prosecution.
A number of Nazaha employees participated in the discussion, and it involved several themes, most important of which are: bribery, misuse of position, government employees working in trade and business, abuse administrative authority, exploitation of contracts, waste of public funds, embezzlement and forgery. Procedures related to evidence gathering and stages of investigations in preparation for referral to the relevant court with the importance of coordinating roles through out the whole procedure.
At the end of this discussion H.E. Vice President of anti-corruption thanked the participants for their contribution and he stressed on holding such discussions and events to implement what is mentioned in the National Strategy for Maintaining integrity and combating corruption, to cooperate with control and judicial entities in the kingdom in the field of fighting corruption, and organizing conferences and seminars in the field of transparency and fighting corruption.
