Chairman of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) visits Head of the Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice

His Excellency Mr. Muhammad Bin Abdullah Al-Sharif, Chairman of the Anti-Corruption Commission accompanied by some of the Commission’s officials, have visited His Highness Abdul Latif bin Abdul Aziz Al-Sheikh, General President of the Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice at his office this Sunday 09/05/ 1433H.

His Highness Dr Al-Sheikh have welcomed Mr. Al-Sharif in the beginning, and thanked him for paying that visit, showing his appreciation of the role that the ACC plays to protect integrity and combat corruption.
Al-Sharif, in turn, has thanked Dr.  Al-Sheikh for good hospitality , and informed him of some of the commission’s works and the mechanism used in the respect of receiving reportings, and dealing therewith, as well as carrying out its competencies in terms of protecting integrity, strengthening transparency, and combating corruption, added to the procedures and steps included within the National Strategy  to Protect Integrity and Combat Corruption, which are conducted by the government in the context of contributing to combat corruption

Al–Sharif also stresses the role of the General Presidency of the Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice, and its partnership with ACC , on the basis of the fact  that combating corruption is nothing but Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice.

It was mentioned before what tasks the commission for the promotion of virtue and prevention of vice do to reform the society and protect it from the moral corruption. These aims agree with what the Anti Corruption Commission do to protect and warn the society against the financial and administrative corruption which harms the country and what it gained.

The two commissions agreed to intensify the warning and cultural aspects which are the first citadel against any kind of corruption, whether it is moral, financial or administrative. It is important that the missionaries and preachers of the commission’s affiliates share to spread this awareness through their continual and direct meeting with the members of the society in every place they reach.

His Excellency the head of the commission for the promotion of virtue and prevention of vice welcomed to cooperate with the commission, support it and respond to everything that achieves its objectives and makes them succeed.

At the end of the meeting, His Excellency Mr. Sharif presented some copies of the commission profile issues. The assistant of the vice chairman of the Anti Corruption Commission, Mr. Abdel Rahman bin Ahmed Al-Aglan, and the advisor of the chairman attended the meeting.
