Mr. Muhammad Bin Abdullah Al-Sharif, President of the National Anti-Corruption commission accompanied with some of the Commission’s officials paid a visit to His Excellency Doctor/ Yussuf Bin Ahmed al Uthaymeen, Minister of Social Affairs in his office today afternoon, Saturday 8/5/1433 H.
At the beginning of the meeting, His Excellency Doctor al Uthaymeen welcomed Mr. Al-Sharif and thanked him for the visit, expressing his appreciation to the role of the National Anti-Corruption Commission in the protection of Integrity and reinforcement of the concept of Transparency as well as combating corruption.
The Commission’s President, Mr. Al-Sharif explained to the Minister of Social Affairs parts of the Commission’s works and the adopted mechanism for receiving and handling reports.
His Excellency reviewed the articles of the National Strategy to protect Integrity and combat corruption, which oblige commitments on the governmental bodies in the field of application of the Strategy. They also discussed the best methods for the Ministry’s participation in achieving the targets and the specializations of the Commission.
On his part, Minister al Uthaymeen welcomed the cooperation and correspondence with the Commission, he also displayed for the President of the National Anti-Corruption Commission the adopted mechanisms in controlling the Social Care Houses and Protection Houses in a way that ensures a proper care for their residents either boys or girls through the application of the relevant systems.
At the end of the meeting, His Excellency Mr. Al-Sharif presented copies of the Commission’s introductory issues. The Commission was represented in the meeting by the assigned Commission’s Assistant for monitoring projects and public affair Mr./ Abdul Rahman Bin Ahmed Al-Ajlan, and the President’s consultant Mr./ Abdullah Bin Mohamed Al-Habib.
