Saudi Arabia participated with a delegation headed by H.E. the President of the Oversight and Anti-Corruption Authority, Mr. Mazin bin Ibrahim Al-Kahmous, in the 10th meeting of the Anti-Corruption Ministerial Committee in the Gulf Cooperation Council Member States today, Sunday 13 of October 2024, in Doha, Qatar.
H.E. the president of the Oversight and Anti-Corruption Authority delivered the Saudi Arabi's speech, expressing his thanks to Qatar, represented by the Administrative Control and Transparency Authority, for chairing and organizing this meeting, and to the Secretariat General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) for its efforts to make the work of this committee a success this year, stressing the importance of enhancing the level of coordination and integration between the GCC states in the field of combating cross-border corruption crimes, in order to achieve the aspirations of the leaders of the GCC - may Allah protect and preserve them.
Their Excellencies discussed a number of topics related to the field of protecting integrity and combating corruption. The attendees reviewed the programs, projects and guidelines that resulted from the meetings of the specialized committees in the field of protecting integrity and combating corruption.
On the sidelines of the meeting, the winners of the first competition of research and studies in the field of protecting integrity and combating corruption 2024, were presented with awards.
