We commemorate on this day 22 February 2024 the anniversary of the founding of our beloved country on the pillars of peace, justice and stability. It is a day that represents the historical, civilizational and cultural depth of this country, its leadership and its loyal people.
The commemoration of Founding Day embodies the keenness of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud - may Allah protect him, in three historical centuries of our blessed state; paying homage to those who contributed to all phases of founding, unification, construction, and development of our great nation. Imam Mohammed bin Saud in 1727 began the establishment of the First Saudi State. It was followed by the Second Saudi State by Imam Turkey bin Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Saud in 1824. The Third Saudi State was founded and unified by King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al Saud -may he rest in peace- in 1932, and his sons -may Allah have mercy on them all- followed in his footsteps until our present day.
Our remembrance of the Founding Day calls upon us to be proud of our deep rooted history, which constituted a wonderful example of the cohesive connection between the citizens and the leadership in facing all challenges, while looking forward to our bright future under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister - may Allah protect them.
In conclusion, I ask Allah the Almighty, on behalf of myself and the employees of the Oversight and Anti-Corruption Authority, to protect the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and HRH the Crown Prince, and to provide them with his aid to serve our dear country, and to preserve the Kingdom’s security, stability, and prosperity.
